Russian missile strike on Dnipro injures nearly 20, including two children PHOTO

Among the injured are a two-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy.

On the night of 18 May, the Russian army launched a missile strike on a residential area of Dnipro. As of 07:30, 18 people are known to have been injured, including a two-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy.

The head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, said in a Telegram post that the children are receiving outpatient treatment.

Eight people have been hospitalised: four women and four men. They are in a moderately serious condition. All those affected are receiving the necessary care.

Rescue workers have brought under control a fire caused by the Russian attack on the roof of a 24-storey building in the city.

Mayor Boris Filatov added that around 20 high-rise residential buildings and private houses had been damaged.

“Two nurseries and a secondary school, a mosque, a building belonging to one of the institutes, and a tram have also been damaged. The number of shattered windows will run into the thousands,” he said.
