On the night of 27 July, Russia struck blockaded civilian merchant vessels in ports in the Mykolayiv Region. One person was killed and others were wounded.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.
The vessels that came under Russian fire are those that have remained blockaded in Ukrainian ports since the start of the full-scale invasion in 2022 and have not operated commercial voyages.
As a result of the attack, one person was killed and others were wounded.
The USPA stresses that this is yet another deliberate Russian strike on civilian shipping and Ukraine’s port infrastructure.
Ukraine continues to document these crimes and is calling on the international maritime community to respond decisively to Russia’s attacks on the civilian merchant fleet.
According to the Mykolayiv Regional Military Administration, a 48-year-old man was killed as a result of Russian attacks on the Region.
