The General Staff has confirmed strikes on Russian targets in temporarily occupied Crimea and Luhansk Region, as well as on a plant in Russia 1,300 km from the border.
The General Staff said the strikes were carried out by the Defence Forces on 27 July and on the night of 28 July as part of efforts to reduce the military and economic potential of the Russian aggressor.
In particular, a logistics supplies depot and a fuel and lubricants depot were hit near the settlement of Ichki (Autonomous Republic of Crimea).
A drone storage facility used by the occupiers was also hit near Chervonopopivka in Luhansk Region.
On 27 July, strikes hit the Federal State Treasury Institution (FSTI) Priority Plant in the settlement of Borok in Russia’s Udmurt Republic. The target was confirmed hit, and a fire was recorded on the facility’s grounds.
The Priority Plant is part of the Russian Federation’s state material reserve system (Rosrezerv) and is a strategic closed-type facility guarded by militarized security. It functions as a major state-level oil depot and is intended for long-term storage of fuel reserves, petroleum products, and fuel and lubricants in the event of emergencies or wartime needs.
The facility is located more than 1,300 km from the Ukrainian border.
The Defence Forces will continue to carry out systematic measures aimed at ending the Russian Federation’s armed aggression against Ukraine, the General Staff emphasised.
