Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy heard a report from Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Pavlo Palisa on the implementation of defense agreements with international partners.

The head of state wrote about this on his social media.

The president stressed that one of the key priorities remains strengthening air defense. Together with the United States and European partners, Ukraine is working to secure new support packages, including missiles for air defense systems.

"Air defense missiles are needed in our launchers, not in warehouses somewhere far from real threats," the president emphasized.

Special attention was also given to localizing the production of Western weapons in Ukraine. Zelenskyy said this cooperation would be significantly expanded, though he did not disclose details at this time. He thanked European partners for their readiness to support Ukraine through joint defense production.

In addition, during a recent visit by a Ukrainian delegation to the United States, agreements were reached on new ways to employ missile systems and on expanding cooperation between Ukrainian and American defense companies.

According to the president, the necessary documents are currently being prepared. Pavlo Palisa, together with Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense, the American side, and Ukrainian manufacturers, will coordinate this work.

"There will be more strength for our warriors," Zelenskyy concluded.
