As a result of evening and overnight attacks on 23 August in the Dnipropetrovsk region, one person was injured. The occupiers attacked two districts of the region more than 10 times with drones and artillery.

A 15-year-old child was injured in the Synelnykove district. There, Russians struck the Petropavlivka community, the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, reported.

“Private homes, outbuildings and cars were on fire,” he said of the aftermath.

In the Nikopol district the enemy attacked the communities of Nikopol, Pokrovske, Chervonohryhorivka and Marhanets. 

Hanzha added that overnight defenders shot down 16 enemy UAVs in the skies over the region. 

  • Yesterday during the day Russians opened fire on the Dnipropetrovsk region about 40 times. One person was injured. 
  • In Kryvyi Rih, work continues to deal with the aftermath of the strike on a shopping centre, which Russians carried out last Friday. The head of the city’s Defence Council warned that the enemy is continuing to plan attacks on shopping centres in various settlements, and urged people to respond to air-raid alerts and go straight to shelters.
