Since the start of the day on 29 August, 175 combat clashes have taken place on the front. Russian forces carried out three missile strikes and 47 air strikes, using three missiles and 195 guided aerial bombs. The occupiers also deployed 7,182 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,305 strikes on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas.

The most intense fighting continued on the Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk axes.
On the Kostiantynivka axis Ukrainian troops repelled 19 Russian attacks. The enemy assaulted in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Novoselivka and Rusyn Yar, and tried to advance towards Mykolaipillia. Two more clashes were ongoing.
On the Pokrovsk axis Russian forces carried out 17 attacks. The occupiers tried to advance towards Bilytske, Shevchenko, Novohryshyne, Vasylivka, Serhiivka and Novopidhordne, as well as near Udachne and Novomykolaivka. Two battles were continuing.
According to preliminary data, over the past day on the Pokrovsk axis Ukrainian troops eliminated 50 Russian occupiers and wounded another 10. Seven vehicles were destroyed, along with a special-purpose asset, a UAV control point, an ammunition depot and 25 shelters used by enemy personnel.
In addition, Ukrainian troops damaged two vehicles, three artillery pieces, four UAV control points and 92 Russian shelters. A total of 323 drones of various types were also destroyed or suppressed.
On the Southern Slobozhanshchyna axis the Russians attacked Ukrainian positions five times near Hrafske, Chuhunivka, Khatnie and Starytsia. Two assault actions were ongoing as of 22:00.
On the Lyman axis the Defence Forces repelled five attacks in the area of Novoselivka and near Lyman and Dibrova. One battle was still ongoing. On the Sloviansk axis Ukrainian troops stopped four Russian attempts to advance near Kryva Luka and Riznykivka and towards Orikhuvatka. One more clash was continuing.
On the Kupiansk axis the enemy carried out one offensive action towards Radkivka. On the Oleksandrivka axis the Russians attacked once towards Berezove.
On the Huliaipole axis Ukrainian defenders repelled six enemy attacks towards Vozdvyzhivka, Huliaipilske, Charivne and Novoselivka. On the Orikhiv axis the Defence Forces stopped two attempts by Russian troops to advance near Mala Tokmachka.
Meanwhile, on the Kramatorsk and Prydniprovske axes, Russian forces did not conduct offensive actions. On the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, since the start of the day one Russian attack and one air strike using two aerial bombs were recorded.
