As a result of Russian shelling in Sumy Region over the past day, six civilians were injured, including a six-month-old baby.
This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
In the Seredyna-Buda community, a Russian drone strike on a residential building injured a 50-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman. A 44-year-old man was also injured in a mortar attack.
In the Krolevets community, a UAV strike injured a six-month-old baby.
In the Konotop community, a Russian drone attack injured a 74-year-old man, while a 75-year-old woman was also hurt.
From the morning of 12 September to the morning of 13 September 2026, Russian forces carried out nearly 100 attacks on 23 settlements across 17 territorial communities in Sumy Region.
The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Sumy, Shostka and Konotop districts.
The communities hit were Sumy, Bilopillia, Yunakivka, Krasnopillia, Myropillia, Esman, Shalyhyne, Seredyna-Buda, Khutir-Mykhailivskyi, Hlukhiv, Novoslobidske, Krolevets, Konotop, Putyvl, Duboviazivka, Velyka Pysarivka and Trostianets.
Russian forces used mortars, artillery, FPV drones, strike UAVs and guided aerial bombs.
In the Seredyna-Buda community, residential buildings and outbuildings were destroyed, while private households, civilian infrastructure facilities and non-residential premises were damaged.
In the Sumy community, a car was damaged.
In the Krolevets and Shalyhyne communities, private residential houses were damaged.
In the Khutir-Mykhailivskyi, Hlukhiv and Konotop communities, civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged. In the Konotop community, a private house, a garage and a car were also damaged.
In the Znob-Novhorodske community, residential buildings were destroyed as a result of earlier Russian shelling.
According to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, air-raid alerts in the region lasted a total of 24 hours over the day.
