On 16 September, Russian forces carried out an air strike on the Sumy community. Injuries and damage have been reported.
This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov.
“The enemy struck the Sumy community with guided aerial bombs. Hits were recorded at several locations. There are casualties,” he said.
According to the Sumy City Military Administration, the enemy carried out an air strike with guided aerial bombs on the Kovpakivskyi and Zarichnyi districts of Sumy.
At present, six people are known to have been injured. Four people were injured as a result of strikes on the private residential sector, including a 14-year-old girl.
Doctors provided assistance on site to her and two other adults. One man is being examined in hospital.
At the impact sites, two homes were destroyed and another 10 were damaged. An educational institution has also been damaged.
Two men injured by the strike on an industrial area are also in hospital.
