On the night of 18 September, starting from 18:00, Russia struck Ukraine with 93 attack drones (46 of them jet-powered) and decoy drones, as well as ‘Banderol’/‘Dan-T’ munitions. The strikes were launched from the directions of Oryol and Millerovo and from occupied Donetsk, Crimea and the waters of the Sea of Azov.

According to the Air Force as of 8:00, defenders neutralised 69 enemy drones of the Shahed type, ‘Herbera’, drones of other types, and three ‘Banderol’/‘Dan-T’ munitions. The attack was repelled by aircraft, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups.

“Impacts by the enemy’s aerial attack assets have been recorded at 13 locations, as well as the fall of downed debris at three locations. In addition, some enemy weapons failed to reach their targets; information on them is being уточнюється,” the statement said.
