Today, 24 September, four Russian drones were detected in Chernivtsi Region. Three were neutralised by air defence forces, while another flew towards Romania.
This was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration, Ruslan Osypenko.
“During today’s Russian attack, four UAVs were detected over Bukovyna. The targets of the enemy strike assets were an energy facility and border infrastructure, including international border crossing points on the Ukrainian-Romanian and Ukrainian-Moldovan borders,” he said.
Air defence forces destroyed three drones outside populated areas. There were no casualties or damage.
The fourth left the region heading towards Suceava County in Romania.
