Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met in New York with the leadership of more than 30 leading US companies and the Group of Economic Advisers.
He wrote about it on Telegram.
“I met with the leadership of more than 30 leading US companies and members of the Group of Economic Advisers in New York. There was very broad representation, and I thank you for your attention to Ukraine, your support, and your warm words about our people,” his message said.
According to him, the meeting discussed how to help Ukraine get through this winter, support the economy, and protect people.
He said there would be new investment in defence technologies and joint production, and that agreements had also been reached on joint projects in the energy sector.
“We also discussed the creation of a sovereign fund, war-risk insurance, and financing that is already available to American investors. We greatly value everyone who is already working with Ukraine, and we expect the number of such partnerships only to grow,” the head of state said.
