Two residents of Malokaterynivka in Zaporizhzhia Region spent five days walking to a safer area, constantly hiding from Russian drones. In the end, police officers and chaplains helped them leave the zone of relentless shelling.

Malokaterynivka regularly comes under Russian attack, and hostile drones are continually spotted over the settlement. Despite the danger, the women did not dare to leave their homes for a long time because they were caring for animals.
When it became too dangerous to stay there, they decided to evacuate. One of the women has difficulty moving and uses walking sticks. So her niece pushed her aunt in an ordinary farm wheelbarrow.
Along the way, the women constantly watched the sky and looked for shelter whenever drones appeared nearby. Local residents also helped them, allowing them to rest and wait out the danger in their homes.
It took the women almost five days to cover the dangerous route and reach Kushuhum.
There they were met by police officers and chaplains, who helped evacuate the women further away from the area of constant Russian shelling.
