Units of Ukraine’s Defence Forces struck key military facilities of the Russian army on 25 September and during the night of 26 September. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In Sievierodonetsk, Luhansk Region, Ukrainian troops struck an ammunition depot belonging to Russian forces.
The Defence Forces also struck a P-18 “Terek” radar station near Semenivske in Donetsk Region.
The P-18 “Terek” radar is a mobile two-coordinate metre-band radar station. It is designed to detect aerial targets, determine their coordinates, and transmit radar information to air defence assets.
The station’s maximum target detection range can reach around 250 km, with a detection altitude of up to 35 km. The radar is one of the elements of radar support for Russia’s air defence system.
- During the night of 26 September, Ukraine’s Defence Forces struck the Ilsky oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai. A fire was recorded on the site.
