The Ministry of Finance has raised UAH 1.65bn for the state budget following the latest bond placement auction.
As the ministry press service reported, the largest amount — UAH 1.006bn — came from one-year hryvnia-denominated domestic government bonds with an annual rate of 15.16%. A further UAH 647m was raised through bonds with a 3.4-year maturity yielding 16.49% per annum.
According to the Ministry of Finance, since the start of this year the state has raised more than UAH 347.14bn through domestic government bonds, and since the beginning of the full-scale invasion this figure has reached almost UAH 2.36tn. The government directs all funds raised from war bonds to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the country’s financial resilience.
