Armolab has upgraded the Robonoshi ground robotic complex designed for medical transport. The manufacturer reported this on Facebook.
The Robonoshi UGV is intended for transporting the wounded. It replaces carrying casualties by hand and is used during support missions. The manufacturer notes that the system’s design was refined directly on the basis of operational experience from the Medical Group in the Kupiansk sector. A video of tests of the upgraded system was attached to the post: during the trials, the UGV transported a company employee.
Access to the batteries was made open, which should simplify and speed up their replacement. The manufacturer also reinforced the securing wings: they were made from thicker metal and the locking joints were strengthened to improve the reliability of the structure while moving.

A wide auxiliary roller was installed on the chassis, with an improved kinematic deployment mechanism. According to the manufacturer’s concept, this should make the system easier to fold, as well as improve its stabilisation and cross-country capability.
Another improvement was a cushion on the load-bearing stretcher surface. It is intended to prevent the casualty from suffocating and to reduce vibration loads during transport.
The control and instrument panel was moved to the end of the cushion. This gives the operator more convenient access to the system’s power-on button and to monitoring the batteries’ charge level.
The placement of the radio receiver for the control unit was also changed — it was put into a separate compartment in the cushion with a hinged lid. This allows the receiver to be replaced quickly or the controller to be paired without using special tools.
Tests of the Robonoshi UGV first became known in spring 2026. At the initial stage, the manufacturer positioned it as a short-range UGV capable of transporting the wounded, casualties or cargo over distances of up to 10 km. During testing, the UGVs traversed rough terrain with loads of up to 100 kg.
Armolab is a Ukrainian engineering and manufacturing company specialising in the development and production of ground robotic systems for military, rescue and special tasks. The company was founded in 2025 and is headquartered in Lviv.
In addition to Robonoshi, the company’s developments include the six-wheeled Mamont and Marsokhid UGVs. The company presented a Mamont prototype in March 2026: it weighs about 1.1 tonnes, has a payload capacity of up to 700 kg, a range of up to 100 km and a top speed of up to 50 km/h. Marsokhid is designed to carry up to 200 kg of cargo, with a stated range of up to 60 km and a speed of up to 14 km/h.
The company’s co-founder Dmytro Mamonov, in particular, took part in developing an early version of TerMIT and worked on the Tank Bureau project, which later grew into Numo Robotics.
