Companies that employ conscripts, those liable for military service, or reservists are required to keep military registration records. During the special period, breaches of these rules carry fines ranging from 34,000 to 59,500 hryvnias.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
The ministry said employers must not only compile lists of employees, but also check their military registration documents, update data in good time, inform the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centre (TRC) about staff being hired or dismissed, and carry out regular reconciliations.
If a company has not organised registration at all, liability and the fine fall on the head of the company. If records are kept with violations, the official responsible for this area is fined.
The size of the penalty depends on the number of administrative cases, not the number of errors identified. If, during a single inspection, specialists identify several violations and consider them within one case, the respondent faces a single fine.
