President Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed strengthening air defence and support for Ukraine’s F-16s with Norway’s Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.
Zelenskyy said this on social media.
The President briefed Støre on relentless Russian drone attacks and ballistic missile strikes.
“Since the start of today alone, 24 people have been injured. Sadly, seven people have been killed, including a child,” Zelenskyy noted.
During the conversation, the sides discussed exactly what Ukraine needs to defend itself against Russia’s escalation, above all air defence systems and support for the F-16 fighter jets.
“We are coordinating our steps and working to provide greater protection for lives and security,” the President said.
Zelenskyy also thanked Norway’s Prime Minister and the Norwegian people for supporting Ukraine.
