Parkovyy Data Centre Shuts Down Completely After Russian Strikes

Client data has been moved to backup sites in the EU.

Kyiv’s Parkovyy data centre has announced a complete shutdown following targeted Russian attacks. The corresponding statement was published on 1 October.

The damage caused by the strikes was critical. Restoring services at this site is impossible, the data centre said.

It added that client data has been deployed at backup sites in the European Union.

The data centre is located in the premises of the Parkovyy Convention and Exhibition Centre in the capital’s city centre. Russia struck it several times in September. Six days ago, the data centre reported that it was suspending operations.

In addition to the data centre, the venue has other functions. In particular, the Servant of the People party often held events at Parkovyy.
