President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced adjustments to the response system to Russian attacks on the critical infrastructure of Kyiv. To this end, the necessary redistribution of resources has been identified, and all planned protective measures must be fully implemented.
The head of state said this after a conference call with the military, government officials and heads of services responsible for protecting infrastructure.
Separately, the meeting discussed supplying Ukraine with air defence missiles and the ammunition needed for F-16s. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defence and the Office of the President’s team must promptly verify agreements with partners — for each country, agreement and aid package.
Agreements on Additional Missiles Have Not Yet Been Implemented, Zelenskyy Says
"It is important that there are additional missiles in October. As of today, some of our agreements, which have already been approved with the leaders of countries, still have not been implemented at the working level," the president explained.
Zelenskyy thanked Germany, Norway, Finland and other partners who are ready to speed up the implementation of the agreements.
Another issue was the readiness of regions for possible attacks. According to the president, the status of implementation of resilience plans in the regions and key cities will be recorded weekly.
In some communities, there are delays. Zelenskyy also stressed the need for the Kyiv authorities to be ready to take swift decisions to support the population.
