The "United List" party of Latvian Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs is confidently winning the country’s parliamentary election, held on Saturday, 3 October.

As of 7:30am on Sunday, 4 October, the vast majority of polling stations had completed the vote count – 1,007 of 1,059. On these figures, six candidate lists have a chance of entering the 15th Saeima.
The prime minister’s "United List" remains in the lead on 35.3%. It is followed by "Latvia First" (LPV) with 13.1% and "Sovereign Power" with 11.8%.
In fourth place is the "National Alliance" (9%), followed by the "Progressives" (7.4%) and "New Unity" (6.3%).
Also close to the 5% threshold required to enter the Saeima is the "Union of Greens and Farmers" on 4.5%.
