Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated education workers on their professional holiday.
He wrote about it on his social media.
Zelenskyy thanked teachers, nursery staff, lecturers and all education workers for their work and care, as well as for their daily support for children.
"The fifth year of the full-scale war. Constant air-raid alerts, lessons in shelters, online classes. And now, as Russia once again intensifies its terror and strikes schools and universities, you continue to do your job," the President wrote.
He noted that education workers remain a pillar of support for children, continuing to teach and support them, contributing to Ukraine’s future.
"Happy Education Workers’ Day! Thank you to each and every one of you for everything you do," Zelenskyy added.
