Russia Killed Eight Residents of Kharkiv Region in a Week

Over the past week, Russian forces attacked 55 settlements in Kharkiv Region, including Kharkiv itself. As a result of the shelling, 87 people were injured, including three children. Eight people were killed.

As the head of the Regional Military Administration Oleh Synyehubov wrote, two men were injured as a result of the detonation of explosive devices.

The Russians used various types of weapons against Kharkiv Region:

  • 10 missiles;
  • 5 multiple-launch rocket systems;
  • 15 guided aerial bombs;
  • 10 Geran-2-type UAVs;
  • 2 Lancet-type UAVs;
  • 22 Molniya-type UAVs;
  • 85 FPV drones;
  • 495 UAVs (type being identified).

Civilian infrastructure in Bohodukhiv district was severely affected, with 11 private houses, an outbuilding, a warehouse building, a medical facility, a petrol station, 18 cars, a lorry, an emergency medical vehicle, and a tractor damaged.

Significant damage was recorded in Kharkiv district: 27 private houses and 2 apartment blocks, 4 outbuildings, an administrative building, a post office branch, 2 shops, 13 cars, and a car trailer.

In Kharkiv, the Russians damaged 24 private houses and 9 apartment blocks, 2 educational institutions, 2 shops, a shopping centre, an office building, power lines, a non-residential building, a café, an administrative building, and 21 cars.

State Emergency Service units neutralised 370 Russian munitions.
