Police have evacuated two more people from the suburbs of Kherson.
This was reported by the Communications Department of the Kherson Region Police.
A 63-year-old local resident decided to leave home for the safety of his 14-year-old daughter. Their settlement is constantly suffering from enemy artillery shelling, drone attacks and air strikes.
They were successfully evacuated from the danger zone. The evacuation was carried out in an armoured vehicle and under the cover of the police mobile fire support group.
They were first taken to a transit centre. They later moved to a safer area of Kherson.
Kherson Region Police are urging people to leave for safer населений пунктів.
"If you or your relatives wish to evacuate, contact local police units, call 102, or the regional contact centre: 0800-101-102 and 0800-330-951," the statement said.
- Despite a drone strike, the "White Angels" evacuated five people from the Kramatorsk community. Those rescued included a 90-year-old woman, a man with visual impairments, and three other female residents of the community.
