The Cabinet of Ministers has presented business associations with updated rules for how companies should operate during the yellow air-raid alert level.
This was reported by Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi.
According to him, the changes were initiated two months ago, but a significant number of businesses still have not begun to meet basic safety requirements.
As a result, the government is taking several decisions. First and foremost, entrepreneurs are being given more time to equip shelters or safe spaces. This could be a basic safe space, a mobile shelter, or providing information on the location of and access to the nearest underground shelter.
In addition, the head of government said, the specific requirements for shelters depending on the number of employees and visitors at a site will be explained in more detail later by the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Businesses have also been allowed to use nearby shelters if they have sufficient capacity and are within walking distance, and if people are clearly informed of the route to them.
According to Koretskyi, by 4 March the military administrations will collect data on whether entrepreneurs are complying with these requirements, after which the government will take further decisions.
