Russian forces are increasing the number of satellite electronic warfare systems that disrupt Starlink. The occupiers have already used them to shield almost all key facilities in Crimea and are using them more and more often along the front line.

This was reported by freelance presidential adviser Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov.

According to Beskrestnov, one such system operates on the principle of site protection and can cover an area of about 25 square kilometres.

He noted that the complex previously consisted of six trailers positioned next to each other on a single site. Now the Russians are trying to disguise the equipment. The core of the system is made up of satellite prime-focus antennas with a diameter of about a metre. Their operation requires an unobstructed view of the zenith, without obstacles.

Beskrestnov also explained what signs to look for when identifying such systems. In particular, the equipment may be placed in lorry parks: he said that out of dozens of vehicles, elements of the system may be installed in three to six.

Another disguise option is small trailers for passenger cars. They may have one antenna installed in each, with the trailers positioned at a certain distance from one another.

According to the adviser, camouflage nets for such systems are unlikely, as they would immediately draw attention. Instead, the equipment may be placed under canopies made of polycarbonate or film. He therefore advises paying attention, among other things, to opaque greenhouses.
