Russian forces attacked the residential area of the Mykolaiv community in Sumy district with two strike drones. A man was killed in the strike, and his wife sustained serious injuries.
This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov.
"With two strike UAVs, the Russians attacked the residential area of the Mykolaiv community in Sumy district," the statement said.
The body of the man who was killed was pulled from the rubble of the destroyed house. His wife was taken to hospital, where medics are providing the necessary care.
As a result of the attack, one private house was destroyed and five more were damaged.
Work to deal with the aftermath of the Russian strike is currently ongoing.
