On the evening of 6 November, Russians attacked an energy infrastructure facility in the Zhytomyr community.
Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration head Vitalii Bunechko reported this.
“Repair crews are working at the site, assessing the extent of damage to the equipment and the measures needed to restore the power supply,” Bunechko said.
The time required to carry out the repair work will be announced after an expert assessment.
Due to the damage to the energy facility, the situation with the capital’s power supply has also worsened. Water pressure in Kyiv’s water supply system has also dropped.
Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko reported this.
He added that at stations where possible, Kyivvodokanal is switching the power supply to generators.
