According to intelligence, Russians are preparing a new strike on Ukraine’s energy sector. Bridges across the Dnipro and civilian infrastructure could also come under attack.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this in his evening address to Ukrainians.
“The Air Force and the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a whole are preparing to defend. It is not easy,” the President added.
Zelenskyy noted that interceptors for Patriot are needed, and that every day in deliveries matters.
There are already agreements on additional support packages from partners, including ammunition for F-16s.
“The aircraft are being used actively to shoot down jet-powered Shaheds. Over the past day, aircraft destroyed 62 such Shaheds. In effect, our aviation achieves results like this almost every day,” Zelenskyy said.
The President announced responses to Russian attacks. A relevant meeting was held with the team responsible for deep strikes.
