Pro-Russian separatists have opened fire on the antiterrorist operation (ATO) troops in Donbas 27 times since the beginning of the day.
In the Donetsk sector, they shot with small arms at the ATO positons in Troyitske and Avdiyivka and with grenade launchers at Novhorodske and Opytne, the ATO press centre said.
The Ukrainian fortifications in Pisky and Krasnohorivka were mortared. The occupiers also fired with an infantry fighting vehicle and heavy machine guns on Krasnohorivka.
The pro-Russian militants have used small arms and grenade launchers against the ATP strongpoints in Maryinka nine times.
In the Mariupol sector, they fired 82-mm mortars on the ATO positions in Talakivka. Near Vodyane, they shot at the ATO strongpoint with grenade launchers.
It was not quiet in the Luhansk sector either. The militants fired mortars and grenade launchers on the Ukrainian fortifications near Novozvanivka, Krymske and Zolote.
One Ukrainian serviceman was wounded as a result of a separatist shooting attack at Zolote.
