President Petro Poroshenko has left for Washington to attend the Nuclear Security Summit on 31 March-1 April, the presidential administration has said.
Poroshenko is planning to meet US Vice-President Joseph Biden, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Polish President Andrzej Duda and Argentine President Mauricio Macri.
On 30 March, he will speak at the forum entitled "Ukraine's continuing fight for freedom" in the Capitol.
Poroshenko will address the Nuclear Security Summit on 1 April.
Russia refused to attend the summit, which the White House described as a "missed opportunity".
