President Petro Poroshenko is planning to go to London ahead of the G7 leaders' summit scheduled to be held in Japan on 26-27 May, a deputy head of the presidential administration, Kostyantyn Yeliseyev, has said a a briefing.
In his words, since Ukraine is not on G7, Poroshenko decided to meet all of its member states' leaders to persuade them to discuss the situation in Ukraine at the summit.
He is also planning to meet Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
Yeliseyev recalled that in the recent weeks Poroshenko had met US President Barack Obama and Vice-President Joe Biden, and French President Francois Hollande and German Chancellor Angela Merkel in late March.
In February, Poroshenko promised the G7 ambassadors that reformist ministers will keep their jobs in the Cabinet of Ministers.
