One Ukrainian serviceman was killed and eleven soldiers were wounded in ATO area in eastern Ukraine over the past day, the spokes officer for the Presidential Administration on the ATO, Col. Andriy Lysenko told a briefing in Kyiv on 30 June.
“One Ukrainian serviceman was killed and eleven soldiers were wounded as a result of military operations over the past day,” Lysenko said.
The ATO forces suffered losses on Svitlodarsk arc, near the villages of Troyitske and Luhanske.
At the same lines of defence, last morning was killed a volunteer soldier Vasyl Slipak, a known opera singer and a member of the Revolution of Dignity," said Lysenko.
He admitted that the situation in the ATO zone has escalated of late.
