Over the past day, the Donbas militants 58 times attacked the positions of Ukrainian army, including 34 times – in the Donetsk sector, 17 - in the Mariupol, and seven in Luhansk sector, , according to a 1 July report by the headquarters of ATO.
In the Donetsk sector, the enemy used small arms and rocket-propelled grenades near Avdiyivka, Verhnyotoretske, Novhorodske, Mayorske and Zaitsevo. Near Troyitske and Luhanske the Russia-backed separatists used 120-mm mortars. In addition, outside Luhanske, the enemy fired 15 rounds of 152 mm artillery.
In the Mariupol sector, the enemy fired 82-mm mortar at the fortified positions of Ukrainian army outside Novotroyitske and Krasnohorivka.
In the Luhansk sector, the opposite party randomly fired 122-mm artillery near Nozvanivka and Novooleksandrivka. Anti-aircraft installations were used outside Krymske.
One Ukrainian soldier was killed and another 11 were injured in Donbas in the previous day.
