Ukrainian PM denies plans to reshuffle government

He said these were "rumours from unknown sources".

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has refused to comment on a possible resignation of certain minister. Speaking to an LB.ua correspondent on the sidelines of the Yalta European Strategy (YES) forum, he described such allegations as "rumours from unknown sources". He recalled that the government had been formed by the parliamentary coalition.

"If one or another political force would like to recall one or another member of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, I think it will have to seriously justify this move. One way or another what is important is the performance of every government member," he said.

During the government questions-and-answers session in parliament on 9 September, Groysman threatened to fire Deputy Prime Minister Hennadiy Zubko.
