Over the past day, Russia-backed militants waged 48 attacks at the positions of government troops in the zone of the antiterrorist operation in Donbas region in all sectors of the frontline.
One Ukrainian soldier is reported wounded, two were injured, the ATO press center said in a release on 26 January.
In the Mariupol sector, the enemy pounded Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Zhovte, Berezove, Vodyane and Shyrokyne from 122-mm artillery, 120- and 82-mm mortars. The town of Krasnohorivka was fired at from a Grad system. Maryinka, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Vodyane, Shyrokyne and Novotroyitske were under From rocket-propelled grenades and small arms fire. An enemy IFV fired at Shyrokyne. Novotroyitske and Maryinka were under enemy sniper fire.
In the Luhansk sector, militants fire 120- and 82-mm mortars at Troyitske, and Novozvanivku; rocket-propelled grenades, heavy machine guns and small arms fired at Orikhove, Zhovte and Novozvanivka.
In the Donetsk sector, 120- and 82-mm mortars fired at Avdiyivka, Zaitseve and Troyitske. In addition, Luhanske, Zaitseve and Avdiyivka were attacked with grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms.
Earlier, the European Union court recognized that Russia supplies weapons in the occupied territories of Donbas.
