From midnight to noon 1 April, the Russian occupation troops have violated an agreed ceasefire on 12 occasions, the Ukrainian Defence Ministry's spokesperson for the antiterrorist operation (ATO), Col Anatoliy Lysenko, has said.

"By noon today, we have registered 12 enemy shooting attacks against Ukrainian positions. In two of them 82-mm and 120-mm mortars were used. This happened in the vicinity of Luhanske. Small arms were used in other shooting attacks. The Ukrainian military strictly observes the ceasefire and does not open fire," he said.
