The positions of ATO troops near Maryinka were under the fire of 120-mm mortars, the weaponry of armored vehicles, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. The defenders of Shyrokyne were fired at fired from the armament of armored personnel carriers, heavy machine guns and small arms, while the area of Novotroyitske used militants fired grenade launchers of various systems and small arms. "The commanders ordered adequate return fire to prevent immediate threat to the life and health of Ukrainian servicemen," the ATO HQ noted.
On Thursday, the ATO headquarters recorded 19 shelling attacks by militants, One Ukrainian serviceman was wounded.
