The situation in the area of the antiterrorist operation in Donbas remains difficult, but entirely controlled by Ukrainian servicemen. Over the past day, ATO headquarters recorded 48 shelling attacks. Two Ukrainian troops were wounded.

In the coastal sector, terrorists 17 times opened fire on the ATO positions in the area. On Sunday evening, Russia-backed terrorists fired at the ATO positions in the area of Shyrokyne from a mortar of 120-mm caliber, and a tank - in the area of Vodyane. In the area of Hnutove, the enemy used 82-mm mortars, and the weapons of an IFV – in the area of Pavlopil. In the same sections of the contact line, and in the areas of Lebedynske, Chermalyk and Novotroyitske, militants periodically used small arms and grenade launchers.

In the Donetsk sector, militants systematically violated the regime of silence, most often – on the outskirts of Avdiyivka. The terrorists repeatedly, opened fire on the strong points in the southern suburb of Avdiyivka using 82-mm and 120-mm mortars, as well as smaller arms. In the east, near Kamyanka, they used 82-mm mortars and an anti-aircraft installations. Using mortars, small arms and grenade launchers the enemy pounded Verkhnyotoretske, Opytne and Pisky. From the suburbs of the temporarily occupied Horlivka, they pounded Zaitsevo and Mayororske.

From Yasynyvata, the enemy shelled the Donetsk filtering station.

In the Luhansk sector, militants fired 120-mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms to fire at the ATO positions near Troyitske. Krymske and Zolote were under the fire of 82-mm mortars, while automatic grenade launchers were used and in the area of Malynove.

On Saturday, seven Ukrainian servicemen were wounded by enemy shelling.

No casualties were reported on Sunday.
