Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman invited the Verkhovna Rada to consider the issue of confidence to his government next week. "I'm not afraid of a report in the parliament... I suggest it to hold confidence vote next week," Groysman said on 1+1 TV channel on 17 May.
The 12-month immunity of Groysman's Cabinet expired on 14 April. Rada can either approve the government's annual report and thus give the Cabinet another year of immunity from the resignation, or refuse to do so and sack the government.
