White House confirms Trump's meeting with Poroshenko
The US Vice President and National Security Adviser will take part in the negotiations.
The White House issued a schedule of the day the US president indicating that Donald Trump will meet with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
"In the morning, President Donald J. Trump will receive a daily intelligence briefing, and then the president will meet with National Security Adviser G.R. McMaster, who will be accompanied by Vice President Mike Pence and President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko," the White House said.
The meeting will take place at 11:00 (18:00 Kyiv time) in the Oval Office. Trump's next event is scheduled for 12:30.
On June 19, Poroshenko left for a working visit to the United States of America.
Earlier, the White House announced Poroshenko's meeting with US Vice President Mike Pence. There was no confirmation of a meeting with Trump.
