President of the European Council Donald Tusk, President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini will attend the 19th EU-Ukraine Summit on July 12–13 in Kyiv.
Vice-president of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis and EU commissioners Johannes Khan and Cecilia Malmström will also take part in the summit.
The Ukrainian side will be headed by President Petro Poroshenko.
"During the summit, the leaders of EU states and institutions will note the completion of the process of ratifying the Association Agreement and the recent entry into force of the visa-free regime for Ukrainian citizens. These are concrete results and important steps in deepening the partnership between the EU and Ukraine," EU representative office in Ukraine said.
Also on the agenda will be the issues related to the conflict and crisis in the east of Ukraine, as well as regional and foreign policy issues.
The adoption of a joint statement at the end of the summit has been in jeopardy because of the position of the Netherlands.
