Over the past day, militants have intensified shooting in all the sectors of the antiterrorist operation (ATO) in Donbas, the ATO HQ press centre reported on Facebook.

During the day the terrorists observed the ceasefire in the Luhansk and Donetsk sectors but on three occasions they fired grenade launchers and small arms at the ATO fortifications in the vicinity of Zaytseve and at around 11 pm opened fire on the northern outskirts of the village. Also, militants twice used grenade launchers and small arms in the area of Avdiyivka.

In the Mariupol sector, terrorists twice employed IFV weapons and antitank grenade launchers to pound Novotroyitske. In the area of Hnutove, they used APC weapons and heavy machine guns.

In the afternoon, a Ukrainian serviceman involved in engineering works on the outskirts of Bohdanivka triggered a mine, having received deadly wounds.

One militant attack was recorded in the Luhansk sector as Russia-backed separatists at about 10 pm targeted the positions of the Ukrainian military near Krymske from an antitank grenade launcher and small arms.

"Overall, the enemy paramilitary groups violated the ceasefire 14 times. The Ukrainian military returned fire on 12 occasions," the ATO HQ said.

On Sunday, the militants observed the ceasefire in Donetsk and Luhansk sectors. No casualties have been reported since midnight.
