On Monday, 13 November, President of the World Bank Group Jim Kim began a two-day visit to Ukraine.

"During a meeting in Washington, I invited Jim Yong Kim to visit Ukraine to see the changes taking place in our country and the significant role of the World Bank in these changes. Right now we are starting with a breakfast with the representatives of Ukrainian agribusiness to discuss ways of increasing productivity in the agricultural sector and the role of our country in the global food security," Ukraine's Finance Minister Oleksandr Danylyuk said in a Facebook post.

The program of Jim Kim's visit provides for a meeting with President Petro Poroshenko, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andriy Parubiy and leaders of parliamentary factions.

The World Bank Board on 27 September unanimously re-elected Jim Yong Kim for a second term of WB president.
