Twelve children got poisoned in a private summer camp in Kyiv Region, one girl is in coma. They were admitted to an isolation ward late on 2 July.
According to UNIAN, specialists from Ukraine’s top children’s hospital Okhmatdyt were called to check on the eight-year-old girl in coma.
A group of 29 children, who were to prepare for sports competitions, arrived at the Slavutych camp on 29 June.
Food safety experts have taken the samples of food for tests. Prosecutors and police are working with the affected children.
According to the UNN news agency, the Slavutych camp is owned by Lyubov Polezhay, civil partner of fugitive ex-President Viktor Yanukovych.
