The State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection has registered an outbreak of African swine fever in Kyiv Region.
The carcass of a home swine was found on the side of the road in Obukhiv District. Tests showed that the animal was sick with African swine fever.
Efforts are being taken to restrict the spread of the disease.
In 2017, Ukraine registered 163 cases of African swine fever.
