Parliament has extended tax preferences for the purchase of electric transport by four years, until the end of 2022.
Electric cars, both new and used, will be exempt from duties, excise duties and VAT. They are imported to Ukraine tax-free.
In 2017, Ukrainians bought 2,697 passenger electric cars, or 2.3 times as many as in 2016.
