President Petro Poroshenko has signed the bills (No 8487 and No 8488) on the customs clearance of cars with foreign registration, which have been imported to Ukraine bypassing a proper procedure, and fines on such motorists.
"All the money up to the last kopeck will be sent to the Pension Fund," it tweeted.
On 20 and 21 November, motorists driving uncleared cars with foreign registration blocked traffic in central Kyiv and several regions.
