Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has supported President Petro Poroshenko's decision to run for a second term.
"The future five-year period is an opportunity to ensure the irreversibility of the way, fix the tasks and assignments which the president has mentioned in his speech. Our place is in the EU, our place is among NATO countries, our place is on the map of Europe," he said at the forum entitled "From Kruty to Brussels. We are going our way".
The prime minister said that these tasks were feasible and called for unity.
"I decided to support the president's decision to nominate himself," he said.
"A strong state should be built on the foundation we built today. We can do this. Only unity can ensure that we reach our goals," he added.
