Well-known Kharkiv army support volunteer Maksym Kurchashov has reportedly committed suicide, Donbas war veteran Leonid Maslov has said, according to the Kharkov Today website.
Kurchashov is survived by his wife and three children.
"Maksym Kurchashov was a patriot, a sincere man. We were each other's clients. Maksym had an office service business," Maslov said.
The volunteer was to turn 46 on 10 May. Just last week he sent a batch of aid to Ukrainian fighters in Donbas.
