Ukraine will open a diplomatic office in Jerusalem to promote innovations and investment opportunities, Israeli Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz has said.
"The office will have a status of Ukraine's diplomatic office in Jerusalem. The main direction of its work will be the promotion of innovations and investments in IT," newsru.co.il quoted him as saying.
According to Katz, an agreement to open this office was reached during Israel Prme Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to Kyiv in summer 2019 and is a sign that both sides intend to develop economic cooperation, especially in innovations and high tech.
